Formerly MMA Digital, Blume needed a positioning shift in the market from a claims lead company to a tech-led and data driven disruptor. They required a fresh identity and new name that reflected a modern, tech-savvy growth business showcasing a hybrid positioning which brought together the tech, data and expertise of the business. With the ultimate aim of the rebrand being to gain potential external investment into the business.

Through desk research and a brand workshop, our first objective was to define a clear brand DNA and competitive positioning to ensure Blume’s new proposition – rethinking the future of customer acquisition – was clearly understood by their market and create a look, feel and logo which brought this to life.

The rebrand contributed to a rapid stage of growth for the business, and coincided with the expanding of its product offering to existing clients – and shortly after the rebrand Blume was acquired by Sun Capital Partners, one of the world’s longest established private equity houses!
