Quite simply, to create a new brand positioning and identity that would provide a springboard to take the company into the next exciting phase of their development

The process

Discover

We dug deep, carrying out stakeholder and employee research, and looked closely at what was going on in the sector and with competitor brands. It was clear that Equity were seen as leaders in their field and were innovators with their products and services. We needed to build on this and stop them hiding their light under a bushel.

Strategy

The social housing sector can often suffer from negative perceptions. Equity create innovative ways to help make home ownership possible for those that might otherwise be unable to do so. We developed a proposition around creating a ‘home ownership revolution’, which reflected the pioneering attitude and innovative approach to creating new products and services.

Design

This innovative spirit was brought to life as 'Inspired Living' and supported with a strong visual identity using bright, stylised illustrations designed to show the dreams of the customers juxtaposed with photography, and a loose script font to introduce the idea of 'a future as yet unwritten'. Delivered across a range of brand assets a revolution was born.
